Tune in tomorrow night at 12:30AM to hear A Guy Walks Into A Bar…
It’s going to be an awesome show. I’ve got an interview with comedian Sandra Valls in the first half hour of the show.
She’s done comedy specials like The Latin Divas of Comedy. Sandra is promoting a show happening in March in Santa Cruz called The Queer Queens of Comedy. I’ve already had another comedian, Poppy Champlin, call into the show for an interview.
Not only that, but there’s still plenty of stand up and the like to hear tomorrow night.
Tell your friends!
Pulled this word for word from the Facebook event:
The Improvathon is Actors’ Theatre’s biggest fund-raiser of the year! Improvers from all over the county crawl out of the cracks and take to the stage in support of the Actors’ Theatre.
Here’s how it works: For a whole day, various Improv Troupes take the stage for sets of around 45 minutes, and audiences can rotate in and out of the theatre whenever they want!
For a minimum donation of $10, you get a free all-day ticket that lets you see any of the shows. Drop by and catch a few shows, step out for a bite to eat, and return to polish the day off with another helping of improv fun! Or stick around the whole time, its up to you!
Already confirmed troops include local favorites like Loose Cannon, You Had To Be There, The Funatics, and Scriptease!
You can even form a troupe and perform at the Improvathon on Sunday, November 1st, if you want to. But, you don’t have to perform to take advantage of the 3 Free Classes every Saturday Oct 17th-Oct 31st! We just think you might want to once you get started.
There will be lots of prizes, laughter, and audience interaction! It’s a blast!
Must be 13 or over to participate.
